Eva is a highly experienced forensic investigator, investigating a wide variety of incidents including fires and explosions in residential, industrial, vehicle and marine cases along with escapes of water and oil in both residential and commercial properties.
Eva joined Halliwell Forensics in 2026 after nearly 14 years as a forensic investigator with another forensic investigation company. During that time, she investigated over 400 cases and participated in a number of high-profile cases including marine investigations and legal proceedings.
Eva provides advice to loss adjusters, insurers and lawyers and prepares reports for use in claims assessment, litigation and court proceedings.
Eva is experienced with the review and provision of advice related to scientific aspects of investigations particularly with regard to chemical testing and dangerous cargoes involved in marine incidents.
Eva holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic and Environmental Analysis from Dublin Institute of Technology/Technological University Dublin (2007) and a Master of Science degree in Forensic Science from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow (2010).
Eva is a member of the Chartered Society of Forensic Science, the Royal Society of Chemistry, and the Fire Investigators Association of Ireland.
